Tali commenced her dance training at the age of 4 with Burwood School of Ballet where after her first Ballet exam in 1992 commenced training in all genres of the Performing Arts that included Jazz, Broadway Jazz including Fosse style, Tap, Contemporary, Demi Character, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Singing and Drama as well as continuing her Ballet training.
Tali was Junior Dance Instructor Jazz/Ballet at 13 years.
Her commitment and focus to intense training lead to her to being cast in touring pantomimes over 5 years, performing along the east coast of New South Wales as well as other performances for Variety Club Australia, The Sydney Royal Agricultural Show, Music and Dance Festivals, Orange Blossom Festival celebrations and Carols by Candlelight to name a few. Tali took part in the celebrations for the opening of Stadium Australia directed by Doug Jack and the regional 2000 Olympic shows and has performed half time entertainment at many ARL, NRL, AFL, NBL Grand finals as well as the Fifa World Cup Exhibition and NFL Gridiron Exhibition Game, Sydney.
Tali has, for many years performed at eisteddfods where she had been very successful in all genres of dance gaining many 1st placings and highest point scoring awards.
Tali attended Castle Hill High School in Year 7 where she was a member of their dance troupe and in Year 8 moved to the McDonald College of Performing Arts, where she joined their Dance and Ballet streams. Tali was welcomed into their performance group Dance Dynamics at the same time studying Musical Theatre and Vocal training. Tali had many performance opportunities with Dance Dynamics and worked with such choreographers as Mr Alan Cross, Josephine Jason, Norman Hall, Virginia Ferris, Jennifer Craddock, Ame Delves, Michael Boyd and Kelly Abbey. It was at McDonald College that she was invited to perform at their 20th Anniversary performance at the Sydney Opera House. In her Graduating Year, Tali was again personally invited to Showcase her HSC Core and Major Performances and that year won the McDonald College Performing Arts Gold Medal Award.
Tali was a keen competitor at Showcase Regional and National Titles in 2002 to 2004, she was Dance Captain for the winning Showteam who won the title of Australia’s Greatest Showteam at Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast.
Tali travelled abroad to continue her dance and stage craft training in New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Once back in Sydney she joined Brent Street and was a member of their jazz and contemporary troupes, choreographer – the infamous Mr Matt Lee. During this time Tali was Dance Teacher at St. Paul’s Primary School in Maroubra where she taught jazz and funk Kindergarten to Grade 6.
She was invited to perform as a guest act at Club Med, Lindeman Island and was successful in auditioning for MTV Awards and “The Dance Piece” a contemporary dance performance.
Tali continued her training, studying under the direction of Ame Delves. Under Ame’s guidance Tali was awarded a place to study at Dance World Studios in Melbourne under Pamela Apostolidis. It was here that she continued studying RAD Ballet as well as Flamenco dance, all within the modules of the Diploma of Dance.
From Dance World Studios, Tali returned to Sydney to study under Juliette ‘JET’ Verne at Urban Dance Centre. Popping, Locking, Hip Hop, Street and Funk were the latest dance styles Tali had become skilled in. Tali had many performance opportunities which included the Kerry Anne Morning Show, regular Industry nights at the Form, Fox Studios and Short, Sweet and Dance, at the Seymore Centre and Carnivale – The Choreographers Ball in Sydney to name a few. She has also performed at Disneyland Anaheim USA, Dreamworld on the Gold Coast as well as crew at Nickelodeon and Nick Junior at Foxtel. Tali has been cast in many productions, opening nights, been kept busy choreographing solo routines for her students as well as staging her own Cabaret Show.
Tali travelled to Lindeman Island where she choreographed for Club Med entertainment.
She has modeled for Pepito, Myer, Portrait Place, Club 55, Sunglass Hut, Charbel Hair and Beauty and N & T Photography. Her television commercials include Qantas, Hyundai, MBF, Foxtel’s TV 1, Sony and Sony PSP (aired in USA) Hallmark Cards, as well as various suited works both in Melbourne and Sydney.
Tali has worked as back-up dancer/choreographer for Faydee, M.I.B, Cherry and choreographed for a Rugby League Cheer squad in the Hills area.
Tali has now graduated and is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance Teaching Certificate, she is also currently continuing her vocal training, promoting her new Cabaret Show and DLK crew as well as co-choreographing routines to showcase at Industry, as well as various corporate functions. Tali is also a certified Zumba fitness instructor.
Other achievements are June Daley Watkins graduate, trapeze training, Film, TV and Stage Drama, Lighting and Sound Courses, Musical Theatre Course and the workshop for Singers.
